Scott Broussard
Chief Executive Officer / President / Chairman of the Board
Scott has over 25 years of experience in planning and executing
drilling, completion, workover, and facility operations in the
Gulf of Mexico, both shallow and deep water, and internationally.
He most recently served as Vice President – Drilling and
Production for Hydro Gulf of Mexico, formerly Spinnaker Exploration.
Scott joined Spinnaker six months after start-up and transformed
Spinnaker from a non-operator to one of the larger operators
in the Gulf of Mexico.
At Spinnaker, he managed all phases of oil and gas operations
including drilling, production, construction, logistics, gas
marketing, and deep water operations. When Scott joined Spinnaker
in 1998, the company had less than $10 million in assets. Spinnaker
was sold in 2006 for $2.5 billion.
During his tenure at Spinnaker, he managed the drilling and
completion of over 150 offshore wells and the installation of
over 60 platforms and facilities in the Gulf of Mexico.
Scott holds a Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering from
Louisiana State University.
